NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME (NDIS)
Clients who have NDIS packages may use their funding to cover or partially cover the fees for services at Resilient Kids Therapy, only if their package is self-managed or plan-managed by a third party. Resilient Kids Therapy is not currently a registered provider under the NDIS. Therefore, clients who have packages managed directly by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) are unable to use their NDIS funds to pay for services at Resilient Kids Therapy.
MEDICARE & HEALTH FUND REBATES
You may be able to access rebates through Medicare for some services delivered by clinicians at Resilient Kids Therapy. You will need to consult your GP and get a Chronic Disease Management Plan. Below is an overview of the requirements.
You will need to pay the full amount of the consultation fee when invoiced to you, we will then email a statement saying it was paid in full, you can then submit your claim to Medicare for the applicable rebate and they will deposit it into your bank account. Some services from therapists may also be covered by your private health fund. These rebates vary widely among different health funds, and we encourage you to contact your insurer for further clarity prior to requesting sessions.
CANCELLATIONS
You can email or call your therapist directly to reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.
We require at least 72 hours notice in order to offer appointments to other clients on our waiting list. Clients who fail to turn up to their appointment or cancel within the notice period will be charged the full appointment fee.
Where there are charged cancellations, you can request that your therapist use the charged time to complete a report, support letter, consult with schools or other professionals, develop personalised resources or complete any other non-face-to-face charged supports.
Cancellations cannot be claimed through Medicare or your Private Health fund.
SESSION & ASSESSMENT FEES

Regardless of the service tier your select, we are committed to excellence and providing you with the best occupational therapy services.
Therapy Fees Structure:

Tier 1: $150 per hour

Tier 2: $180 per hour

Tier 3: $193.99 per hour

Travel is charged at the hourly rate up to a maximum 30 minutes each way

Assessments – an individualised quote will be given after discussing the specific assessments requested.
